About Us
What is the Virus Project?
The Virus Project is not-for-profit organization made up of a variety of creative platforms that are run by volunteers from within the community.
What are we involved in?
The Virus Project is made up of a variety of creative platforms. We run our own music label, internet radio station, online magazine, new media design company and film/documentary production house.
In addition to this, we run a range of live music events, workshops and innovative exhibitions, which play an important part within the Project’s community.
What are our aims?
- To provide free platforms for creativity
- To create a synergic community of like-minded people.
- To be a positive force within the community
- To teach, share and learn new, different and experimental skills.
- To aspire to maintain the Project's independence, and to be self-sufficient.
Want to get involved?
We are looking for highly motivated people to volunteer and become part of our creative community. The Project is open to volunteers at any skill levels and makes special effort to be as inclusive as possible.
Click on the "Join Us" button and send us a brief summary of any skills you have to offer and which area of the Project you're interested in getting involved in. Don’t worry if you have little or no experience in whichever field you wish to be a part of – our job is to help to motivate and train you to achieve your full potential.
Importantly, the Virus Project is as much about having fun, being part of a community and learning as part of a team, as it is producing new and exciting pieces of creative work.
